About the Role

Restructuring Associate

Am Law 50 Firm

2ND – 5TH Class Years

New York or Chicago (Flexible working arrangement)

Our client are a global top 10 law firm, with a highly regarded restructuring practice who deliver high profile restructurings and insolvencies involving global brands for a wide range of clients. These include distressed companies, insolvency practitoners, creditors, private equity, banks & other financial institutions. The practice focuses on predominantly 75% on Chapter 11 work, with 25% being Chapter 15. There is a relatively even mix between the in-court and out-of-court work. The debtor and creditor split is also 50/50.

What are the firm looking for?

  • 2-5 years’ experience working on Chapter 11 or Chapter 15 restructurings (either in-court or out-of-court).
  • Experience of working at a peer firm/ Am Law 50 firm.
  • An enthusiastic candidate who enjoys working collaboratively.
