Finance Associate – Top US Firm in London

(3–5 PQE | Fund Finance / Leveraged Finance)

I’m working with a top-tier US firm in London that’s looking to add a Finance Associate to its growing and busy team. The practice covers a broad mix of fund finance, private credit, leveraged finance, and some real estate finance, with a strong pipeline and ambitious growth plans (3 to 5 hires are expected this year).

The Role
This position will give you exposure to a wide range of finance work including:

• Fund Finance (primarily borrower-side), including subscription facilities, NAV facilities, rated products, and occasional lender-side matters

• Private Credit / Leveraged Finance, both lender and borrower-side, often focused on acquisition finance for portfolio companies

• Some Real Estate Finance, depending on deal flow and interests

The team is open to tailoring the role to your strengths and preferences. If you have a strong interest in fund finance or leveraged finance, they will ensure that forms a core part of your deal sheet. Training and support will be provided to help you gain confidence across the full range of finance work.

What They’re Looking For

• 3–5 PQE from a strong finance practice

• Experience in either fund finance or leveraged finance (ideally both, but not essential)

• Fund finance candidates can come from a borrower or lender-side background, but should be keen to broaden their skills

• Leveraged finance candidates should ideally have experience acting for private credit funds or sponsors (not just national banks)

Compensation

• Top of market 

• Target: 1800 billable hours
